Kick Off Vistara the Austin Way
Before Vistara officially begins, join fellow attendees for an optional guided kayaking experience on Austin’s iconic Lady Bird Lake.
This small-group experience is designed to help you connect with other agency leaders, get out of your inbox, and arrive at the Vistara welcome reception relaxed, grounded, and ready for the days ahead.
No kayaking experience required. This is casual, beginner-friendly, and fully guided.
What to Expect
- A guided group kayak tour on Lady Bird Lake
- Time outdoors with fellow Vistara attendees before the conference begins
- A relaxed, social experience that sets the tone for the week
- All equipment provided (kayak, paddle, life vest, and instruction)
You’ll finish with plenty of time to head back to the hotel, freshen up, and join the evening welcome reception.

Getting There
Live Love Paddle is approximately a 30-minute walk or a 6-minute drive (1.3 miles) from Hotel Van Zandt. Parking is available on site.
- We’ll meet in the Hotel Van Zandt lobby at 1:20 PM to walk over together, or
- You may meet the group directly at Live Love Paddle at 2:00 PM
Cost
$75 per person
Includes guided tour, kayak rental, paddle, life vest, and on-water instruction.
Spots are limited to keep the experience relaxed and high quality.
